The project “Clash des Arts” is a specific innovation of the Brussels Popular Festival. Through a creative process lasting for 10 months (from September to June 2018), a network of NPO’s, amateur and professional artists as well as cultural places are working together in order to :
– develop common productions based on cultural and associative synergies ;
– represent the creative potential of diversity and mixing in Brussels ;
– open a space for the promotion of meetings between different people in Brussels ;
– highlight the specific popular culture of our Brussels region.
Through this project, the Festival also encourages citizens to join « eco-responsible » actions. Each and everyone are invited to join in and decorate the venue thanks to DECO RECUP workshops. Tools learning workshops which participants can remake at home for a better waste management.
More than 20 dutch and french associations work together to create a collective and people artwork : concerts, exhibitions, short films, Talking space, performances, street shows, workshops, etc…
